辛亥革命胜利后，在南京成立了临时政府，孙中山就任临时大总统。中华民国成立后，清朝的邮票即不应再用。这个时期的纪念邮票还有1929年的"孙总理国葬纪念"、1932年"西北科学考查团纪念"等邮票共11套。它们全部由北京财政部印刷局用雕刻版印制。这一时期的普通邮票有帆船、孙中山像和烈士像等。
