   清代宫廷恢复了宋代和明代宫廷画院制度，出现了一大批著名画家。据查证，仅雍正四年最高等级的画家就有丁裕、詹熹、丁观鹏、程志道和贺永清五人，乾隆六年有金昆、孙祜、丁观鹏、张雨森、余省和周鲲等六人，乾隆十六年增加了张宗苍、徐扬二人。另有以郎世宁为代表的一批外国画家和前期顺治、康熙和后期嘉庆、道光至光绪年间若干画家，其人员众多。日常所绘的主要题材有：描绘帝后及皇家、大臣等上层人物的肖像画;表现宫内生活场面的宫廷生活画;纪录当代重大历史事件的历史纪实画;装饰宫廷用的山水画及花鸟画等。院画的形式多种多样，人物有工笔重彩和白描两种画法，花鸟画也有工笔和没骨两法，山水则宗四王一派，另外，中西合璧的画风也风靡一时，唯独水墨写意画没有传播。

The main themes of daily paintings are: portraits of emperors, emperors, ministers and other upper-class figures; palace life paintings showing the scenes of life in the palace; historical documentary paintings recording major contemporary historical events; landscape paintings and flower-and-bird paintings used to decorate the palace, etc. There are many forms of courtyard paintings, such as meticulous brushwork, heavy color and white painting, flower and bird painting and boneless painting, while landscape painting is a school of four kings.     丁观鹏擅长画道释人物，也善画山水。曾与弟弟观鹤同供奉于南熏殿。他的画作清宫收藏很多。与陈枚等六家合作《庆丰图》卷，《太平春市图》卷，与陈枚、孙硝合作《丹台春晓图》卷等，均辑入《石渠宝笈》。传世作品有：《摹宋人雪渔图》和《仿韩七子过关图》，均辑入《中国历代名画集》。

      Ding Guanpeng is good at painting Taoist figures and landscape. Once worshipped with his brother Guanhe in Nanfudian Hall. His paintings are well collected in the Qing Palace. With Chen Mei and other six cooperation "Qingfeng Tu" volume, "Taiping Chun City Tu" volume, with Chen Mei, Sun Nian cooperation "Dantai Chunxiao Tu" volume, are included in "Shiqu Baoding". The works handed down from generation to generation include: Imitating the Snow Fishing Pictures of Song Dynasty and Imitating the Pass-through Pictures of Han Qizi, which are all included in the Collection of Famous Chinese Paintings of Past Dynasties.
