文中这枚钱币即为嘉庆通宝，钱体呈暗褐色包浆，锈色得体、自然，质地为精质黄铜。钱币正面楷书“嘉庆通宝”四字，从上而下而右而左直读，字形规矩，布局协调，横直竖立。书写工整，用笔有力，彰显端美。此币品貌精整，边圆廓正，平整地章，钱文清晰，笔划纤细且深俊挺拔，穿口轮边规矩而干净，乃是一枚难得的嘉庆通宝母钱，故显珍贵，值得珍藏。
