从明代崇祯年间至解放前夕，我国先后发行了640余种银币，其中，“奉天省造癸卯光绪元宝库平壹两银元”、“光绪银币（丁未）双龙一两”、“大清银币吉字戊申库平一两”、‘’陕西省造光绪元宝库平一两、“香港造上海壹两银元”、“湖北省造光绪七钱二分本省银元”及“孙中山像地球版壹元银元”为旧版银元中的一币难求的稀缺品。

银币正面中央圆圈内镌“光绪银币”四个字，圈外左右两侧分镌“丁未”二字和一对双龙戏珠（寿字）图案。银币背面中央镌“一两”二字，两侧镌双龙戏珠图案，两条龙的背部和龙腹部分别镌有三团云朵，下端镌海浪图案。正面和背面的龙图造型完全不同。此款光绪元宝发行量极少，丁未一两，品相完整，保存完好，有一定包浆年代感，极具收藏价值。

光绪银币（丁未）双龙一两是由清政府度支部设计和正式铸行的清代标准银币之一。清朝光绪三十三年（1907）年度支部天津造币总厂铸造。因为铸额小，传世稀罕，大多数民间藏家没有见过实物。

光绪银币双龙一两是光绪年间短暂流通过的样币之一，作为近代银元“十大珍”之首其精湛的工艺与收藏价值一直为世人惊叹，目前存世量及其稀少。它是中国银本位货币制度的最精美的代表，为了体现满清皇权制度在货币领域的权威，其设计制造者不计成本地进行了精美绝伦的设计。其艺术水准、防伪能力迄今没有被超越。传世此种光绪银币存世仅见一枚，是被国内外集藏界公认的中国近代银币大珍品。

这枚“光绪（丁未）双龙一两”银币当年虽然投放于市场，但它在市面上流通的时间并不是很长，后来被全面收回；它当年的实际铸造量其实并不多，能完好流传保存至今的，少之又少，罕见至极。

From the time of Chongzhen in Ming Dynasty to the eve of liberation, more than 640 kinds of silver coins were issued in China. Among them, "Pingyuan two silver yuan, Guangxu silver coin (Dingwei) two dragons, Wushen silver coin one or two" in Fengtian Province, Pingyuan one or two in Shaanxi Province and "Shanghai in Hong Kong" were made. One and two silver yuan, seven yuan in Guangxu, Hubei Province, and one yuan in Sun Yat-sen's Earth-like edition are rare items in the old edition.

The silver coin has four words "Guangxu silver coin" in the central circle on the front, and two characters "Ding Wei" and a pair of Shuanglong opera beads (Shou Zi) on the left and right sides of the circle. On the back of the silver coin, the word "one or two" is engraved in the center, and the two dragons are engraved with double dragon beads on both sides. On the back and abdomen of the two dragons, three clouds are engraved, and on the bottom of the two dragons are engraved with waves. Dragon drawings on the front and back are totally different. This Guangxu Yuanbao has a very small circulation, not one or two, complete appearance, well-preserved, with a certain sense of pulp age, has great collection value.

Guangxu silver coin (Dingwei) Shuanglong one or two is one of the standard silver coins of the Qing Dynasty designed and formally minted by the Qing government branch. The annual branch of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1907) was minted by Tianjin Mint General Factory. Because the casting amount is small and handed down scarcely, most of the folk collectors have not seen the real object.

Guangxu silver coin Shuanglong one or two is one of the sample coins circulated briefly during the period of Guangxu. As the top ten treasures of Modern Silver coin, its exquisite craftsmanship and collection value have always been amazed by the world. At present, its stock and rarity are very rare. It is the most exquisite representative of China's silver-based monetary system. In order to embody the authority of the Manchu and Qing imperial power system in the monetary field, its designers and manufacturers made exquisite designs regardless of cost. Its artistic level and anti-counterfeiting ability have not been surpassed so far. Only one of these Guangxu silver coins survived in the world. It is recognized as a great treasure of modern Chinese silver coins by collectors at home and abroad.

Although this "Guangxu (Tingwei) Double Dragon One or Two" silver coin was put on the market in that year, its circulation time on the market was not very long, and it was later fully recovered. In fact, the actual casting volume of this coin in that year was not much, and it can be well circulated and preserved to this day, very few, very rare.
