规格：直径约（D）：4.24cm，重量约（N）：37.4g。

光绪元宝是清朝光绪年间流通的货币之一。由湖北两广总督张之洞率先引进英国铸币机器铸造银元和铜元，之后各省纷纷仿效。共有十九个省局铸造，除中央户部，地方省所铸铜元，皆在其正面上缘镌写省名。Guangxu yuan bao was one of the currency circulated during the guangxu period of the qing dynasty. Zhang zhidong, governor of hubei province, guangdong province, was the first to introduce the British coinage machine to cast silver and copper yuan, which was followed by other provinces. 这枚稀世珍品“北洋库平一两光绪元宝”，其正面中央镌汉文“光绪元宝”，外围上镌满文“光绪元宝”，下镌币值，左右分镌“北洋”二字；背面中间镌蟠龙图，外围镌英文，中文意为“光绪33年北洋一两”。该币满文书法根基牢固、运笔自如、浑厚有力，深受中文行书书法精髓导引，颇具皇家风范尤其是满文“宝”字系出头宝，凸显当时的改革之内蕴。This rarity "beiyang library flat one or two guangxu yuan bao", its front central engrave "guangxu yuan bao", on the periphery engrave manchu "guangxu yuan bao", engrave value, left and right engrave "beiyang" two words; The back of the middle engraved dragon, engraved in English, Chinese meaning "guangxu 33 years north one or two".
