2010年2月10日，国际奥委会在加拿大温哥华召开第122次全会，投票选出2014年第2届夏季青年奥林匹克运动会的承办权授予中国的南京市。2011年5月19日南京青奥会会徽正式发布。

2014年南京青年奥林匹克运动会，简称为南京青奥会。作为世界顶级奥运鉴会，仅2010年举办的青奥会就已是达204个国家和地区，此次2014年青奥会规格势必超过往届，青奥会与奥运会一样均由国际奥委组审核、确认后方可举办。与北京2008奥运会规格同等，每四年一届两者徽标上遍有五环标志，青奥会不仅传承奥运体育精髓，更将教育、文化等领域完美融合，由于是专为青年人设立的国际顶尖赛事，又被人们称之为奥运的未来！

为隆重庆祝南京成功申办“2014年青年奥运会”，2008年北京奥运会会徽，“中国印·舞动的北京“发布1摩年纪念（2003年8月3日晚 2008年北京奥运会会徽“中国印·舞动的北京”在北京运动公园正式对外发布），特由中国国际收藏协会监制，出品发行“双奥盛典”藏品已作为永久纪念！
