清高宗爱新觉罗·弘历，清朝第六位皇帝，入关之后的第四位皇帝。年号“乾隆”，寓意“天道昌隆”。乾隆通宝就是清高宗乾隆皇帝于公元1735年即位铸行的，清高宗乾隆皇帝在位的60年里施展其“文治武功”的治国策略，创造了封建社会里最后一个辉煌盛世，之后民间便盛传佩带“乾隆通宝”铜钱可驱灾辟邪，又因乾隆二字谐音“钱隆”而备受后世藏家所喜爱。

Emperor Aixinjueluo Hongli of Qing Emperor Gaozong was the sixth emperor of Qing Dynasty and the fourth emperor after entering the Customs. The year number "Qianlong" implies "Tiandao Changlong". 此组乾隆通宝，呈圆形，中间有方孔。在钱币的正面刻有“乾隆通宝”四个楷书字，其字从上而下而右而左直读，钱币的背面有满文“宝泉”两个字。钱文端庄秀丽，文字笔画刚劲有力、雕工精湛，美观大方，字口深峻，穿口光洁。整体包浆熟旧，整体上完美绝伦，放在乾隆钱中，真如鹤立鸡群，精美致极。藏品虽经历了无穷岁月，但纹路依然清晰可见，上面的锈迹也见证了其历史的积淀，具有非常明显的历史过渡性特征，有着难以言喻的收藏价值。色泽明亮、自然纯正、表面光洁明润、品相上乘，在柔和的灯光下散发着一种金光灿灿的光芒。铜钱经过长期的流传、把玩，表面上会生成一种坚硬的黑褐色包浆，业内称为“传世古钱”。无论是铜质还是铸造工艺，无不显示出清朝鼎盛时期的风采。不仅有经济价值，更有历史价值和艺术价值，而历史价值和艺术价值又直接影响着经济价值。
