【简介】

光绪元宝是清朝光绪年间流通的货币之一。由湖北两广总督张之洞率先引进英国铸币机器铸造银元和铜元，之后各省纷纷仿效。共有十九个省局铸造，除中央户部，地方省所铸铜元，皆在其正面上缘镌写省名。光绪元宝是大清光绪年流通大面值货币之首，是我国首批引进海外技术的印发流通货币，对于现今也蕴藏了一定历史意义。北洋造光绪元宝北洋龙洋在中国近代机器铸币史上属一个大系列，其铸期历时甚长（从光绪22年—光绪34年[1896至1908年]），历经十余载，币模几经更替，即使同一铸造年份亦往往由于修模、币材、工艺技术、工厂管理等诸多因素，造成版别异常繁杂。

而此枚光绪元宝钱币正面铸有铭文，底部铸货币价值“库平七钱二分”雕刻，中心直读“光绪元宝”四字，币中心为满文“光绪元宝”，背面中央为神龙图腾，纹路如刀刻所成，铸造工艺神乎其技，龙身纹路精美，色泽艳丽明快，自然纯正，光洁细润，并有云海衬托，看上去仿佛是一幅神龙翱翔天际油画，极其瑰丽，美得动人心魄！最难能可贵的是此枚钱币当时发行之前的试铸币，试铸币是当时的完成品样品，是后续铸银币的对照品，整个国家这种版别才几百枚左右。然而试铸币作为母币一直没有流通，加之后期回炉重造，流落在民间的非常少，所以旷世罕见。就该币本身而言，其艺术价值远超其文物价值，收藏价值极大。
