【简介】

布币又称为铲币，因酷似铲而得名。一般认布币铸行的年代始于春秋而盛行于战国，但1976年陕西临潼零口街等出土了多件西周“青铜铲”（原始布币），与商代青铜铲进行比较，认为布币最早出现于西周，有史记载：武王克商，发鹿台之钱，散钜桥之粟。
布币可分为两大类，分别是空首布与平首布。其中空首布可分为平肩弧足空首布，斜肩弧足空首布，耸肩尖足空首布；平首布可分为釿布，锐角布，方足布，尖足布，圆足布，三孔布。
布币主要在春秋战国时期流行，又因各国政权不一，布币各有不同，距今历史久远，此布币现存量极少，具有很高的收藏价值，王莽时期（公元8年-公元23年）复古，曾铸造过一批布币，工整漂亮，因其像人穿的裤子，故又被称为“裤币”，但同样也是很少能见到了。
