　　“雨过天晴云破处，千峰碧波翠色来”天青釉，又名雨过天青，是一种幽淡隽永的高温色釉，古代陶书描写其青如天，明如镜。关于天青釉，相传为五代后周世宗柴荣所创，“当日清器式，世宗批其状曰：雨过天晴云破处，者般颜色作将来”。从创烧开始，天青釉在中国陶瓷史上，一直占据着非常重要的地位，甚至被誉为代表着中国陶瓷的最高审美价值。北宋汝窑更把天青釉推上了历史的高峰，成为芸芸众瓷中的绝色。纯净莹澈、简洁质朴、飘逸素雅，单色釉的美学价值从宋代到现在，都代表着瓷器的最高审美标准，也是汉文化美学的巅峰表现，非常符合中国文人的审美情怀。笔洗是一种文房用具，是用来盛水洗笔的器皿，以形制乖巧、种类繁多、雅致精美而广受青睐，传世的笔洗中，有很多是艺术珍品，但流传至今的不多。此件天青釉笔洗洗敞口，洗心坦平，圈足外撇，裹足支烧，足底有三个支钉痕。由于汝窑用玛瑙作釉的原料，对产生特殊的色泽有一定作用，从而形成了釉面色泽莹润，釉如凝脂的特点。基本色调是一种淡淡的天青色，俗称""鸭蛋壳青色""，釉层不厚，随造型的转折变化，呈现浓淡深浅的层次变化。釉面开裂纹片，多为错落有致的极细纹片，透明无色似冰裂，俗称为""蟹爪纹""。汝窑瓷器以釉色取胜，少见花纹装饰。
