清乾隆金嵌宝金瓯永固杯，是清乾隆时期的故宫金器，此杯共有4只，其中2只金质，1只铜鎏金造办于乾隆初年，另外1只金质造办于嘉庆初年。现藏于北京故宫博物院（1金，嘉庆二年造）、台北故宫博物院（1金，乾隆年造）、伦敦华莱士博物馆（1金、1铜鎏金乾隆年造）。

The gold inlaid treasure of the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty is the gold ware of the Imperial Palace during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. There are 4 cups in total, 2 of which are made of gold, 1 of which is made of copper gilt in the early years of the Qianlong period, and the other of which is made in the early years of the Jiaqing period. It is now stored in Beijing Palace Museum (1 gold, made in the second year of Jiaqing), Taipei Palace Museum (1 gold, made in the year of Qianlong), Wallace Museum in London (1 gold, 1 copper gilded made in the year of Qianlong).

清乾隆金嵌宝金瓯永固杯，高12.5厘米，口径8厘米。 杯金质，鼎式，圆形，直口。口沿錾回纹一周，一面中部錾篆书“金瓯永固”，一面錾“乾隆年制”四字款。外壁满錾宝相花，花蕊以珍珠及红、蓝宝石为主。两侧各有一变形龙耳，龙头上有珠。三足皆为象首式，象耳略小，长牙卷鼻，额顶及双目间亦嵌珠宝。

本件新时代金瓯永固杯是‘‘故宫’’出品，收藏里的“金”字招牌；

金瓯永固杯正面刻有“金瓯永固”字样，寓意江山永固，沾皇家福气，保家业长存的寓意；以宝相花为纹饰，是以莲花牡丹等为本位素材，经过艺术加工而成的一种吉祥图案，含有“宝”“相”“仙”之气，装饰效果富丽堂皇。侧面装饰夔龙耳纹饰，夔龙头顶宝相花，并镶嵌珍珠一颗，寓意当头有彩；底部装饰象足，呈三足鼎立之势，象鼻内翻，与象牙造型合力支撑整个杯鼎，寓意家业太平人丁兴旺。

錾刻是制作工艺中的主体部分，也是最关键的一环，金瓯永固杯上的图案十分反复紧密，花纹枝叶小巧精致，要求有极高的錾刻技艺，錾刻的层次很深，类似于高浮雕，由于金属的限制，为达到这种浮雕的效果增加的难度，黄金的特性很软，力气小不易达到浮雕的效果，力大容易把金片弄破。
