  黄慎（一六八七

一七八六）清画家，字恭寿、又字恭懋，号瘿瓢子神州宁化人，久居扬州家贫卖画为生。擅人物多取神仙故事和文人生活为题材，也画乞丐纤夫渔民。初学上官周后用狂草笔法作画为扬州八怪之一，此乃生平之作，李梦汤识。一百单八将，指四大名著之一《水浒传》中梁山泊上的一百零八头领，由三十六天罡(刚)星，和七十二地煞星组成。这一百零八人性格各异，各有所长，结局不同，是我国文学史上的经典人物群像。此画所画多历史人物、佛道、樵夫渔父，早年工细，后参以怀素草书笔法，所作人物用笔粗犷，顿挫转折，纵横排奡，气象雄伟。黄慎款水浒一百零八将卷轴，是其经典代表作，画面108将栩栩如生，传神到位，是一副不可多得的传世佳作。此画还有一大特点，此画是由绢所造，也就是我们俗称的帛画（顶级丝织品）。此画无论是从他的精美画工来看，还是从他高贵的材质来看，都是不可多得的名贵珍品。
