藏品为北洋造光绪元宝库平七钱二分,由湖北两广总督张之洞率先引进英国铸币机器铸造银元和铜元，共有十九个省局铸造，除中央户部，地方省所铸铜元，皆在其正面上缘镌写省名。，钱币正面珠圈内为“光绪元宝”四字，四字中间铸有满文，上缘铸制造局“北洋造”三字，下缘铸币值“库平七钱二分”，左右各伴一圆点星。钱币背面中心为一幅栩栩如生的蟠龙图，眼神灵异，炯炯有神，龙鳞雕刻细密有致，腾云驾雾，身姿遒劲有力，尽展皇家威严大气，龙形飞舞，生动传神 .此枚北洋造光绪元宝，品相上乘，包浆饱满，背面的神龙是全鳞图，蕴含一定的历史意义，是至今遗存极罕的一枚，极具观赏与收藏价值。
