这枚龙洋属于高纯度银质，龙洋的正面版图上的周边隽有排布均匀的细齿状条，里面隽一周分布匀称的凸起的圆点珠环，银币的正中，分上下左右刻制光绪元宝四字，在光绪元宝的中央位置又刻铸有满文的光绪元宝字样，在凸起的珠环与齿状花纹的中间的顶端位置上刻制有京剧制造的楷体字本，中间位置有正反方向的庚子两个文字，代表着铸造的年号。下方刻有库平七钱二分六个正楷字样。
