【藏品简介】：唐军长是币界的俗称，实际是唐继尧纪念银币，云南省造，正面为唐继尧正像或侧像，上铭“军务院抚军长唐”，正像币下有嘉禾，侧像币则无。因从左至右读为唐军长比较顺口，于是这个称谓一直流传下来。背面正中为交叉的双旗（五色旗和十八星旗），上铭“拥护共和纪念”，下面是三钱六分记重面值（即5角）。图为正像币正面。唐继尧纪念币还有金、铜币多个品种，当时在云南地区发行量很大。

[introduction to collection]: the military commander of Tang Dynasty is a common name in the coin industry. It is actually a commemorative silver coin of Tang Jiyao, made in Yunnan Province. On the front of the coin is a portrait or side portrait of Tang Jiyao, with the inscription "military academy caresses the military commander of Tang". There is Jiahe under the portrait coin, but no side portrait coin. Because it is easier to read from left to right as the commander of the Tang Dynasty, this title has been handed down. In the middle of the back is the crossed Double Flag (five-color flag and eighteen star flag), with the inscription "in memory of supporting the Republic" on the top and the heavy face value of three yuan and six Fen (i.e. 5 jiao) on the bottom. The picture shows the front of the coin. There are also many kinds of commemorative coins of Tang Jiyao, such as gold and copper coins, which were in great circulation in Yunnan at that time.

唐继尧银币是云南省为纪念反袁拥护共和胜利而制造发行的。是民国时期云南省主要的流通货币之一。据《云南近代货币史资料汇编》记载，云南造币厂曾于民国六年八月奉督军、省长公署之令铸造唐继尧纪念银币，但由于模型“不臻完美”，不再制造，后经修改模型，于民国七年十月一日再次制造二十万元并由富滇银行发行。故存世唐继尧银币有侧面和正面两种版别。银币正面为唐继尧正面像，上环有“军务院抚军长唐”七字；背面图案珠圈内上方有一颗醒目的五角星，下方为五色旗和十八星旗相交叉，上环有“拥护共和纪念”六字，下环有“库平三钱六分”六字，表示该币重量，左右两侧分列有小五角星。民国六年（1917年）八月制造的初版银币则是唐继尧侧面像。民国七年（1918年）十月一日开始制造的是唐继尧正面像银币。唐继尧正面像银币有两种版式，泉友习惯把这两种版式分别叫旗心点版、网眼版。不知各位能否区别。唐继尧侧面像银币存世量比唐继尧正面像银币存世量少得多、因此市面上售价也高得多。

The silver coins of Tang Jiyao were made and issued in Yunnan Province to commemorate the victory of opposing yuan and supporting the Republic. The first silver coin made in August 1917 is the profile of Tang Jiyao. On October 1, 1918, Tang Jiyao began to make silver coins with a positive image. There are two types of silver coin on the front of Tang Jiyao. Quanyou used to call these two types flag heart dot and mesh. I wonder if you can tell the difference. The amount of silver coins in the profile of Tang Jiyao is much less than that in the front of Tang Jiyao, so the price on the market is much higher.
