永乐款铜香炉  高7.5 cm，口径9 cm，铸于明代永乐时期。香炉口部微侈，折沿，上有两只桥形耳，束颈，鼓腹，下有三只钝锥足。器物外底正中刻“永乐年制”四字。香习俗在我国历史悠久，人们多用于祭祀、熏衣等，更有不少文人雅士喜欢在书房内焚上一炷香，颇有“红袖添香夜读书”的意境。早在汉代前，中国就出现了陶、瓷、铜、铁、瓦为材料制成的香炉。
