光绪元宝是清朝光绪年间流通的货币之一。由湖北两广总督张之洞率先引进英国铸币机器铸造银元和铜元，之后各省纷纷仿效。共有十九个省局铸造，除中央户部，地方省所铸钱币，皆在其正面上缘镌写省名。作为大清光绪年流通大面值货币之首，光绪元宝是我国首批引进海外技术铸行流通的货币，对于现今也蕴藏了一定历史意义，故而吸引了诸多藏家的目光，价值不菲。

Guangxu yuan bao was one of the currency circulated during the guangxu period of the qing dynasty.Zhang zhidong, governor of hubei province, guangdong province, was the first to introduce the British coinage machine to cast silver and copper yuan, which was followed by other provinces.A total of 19 provincial bureau casting, in addition to the central ministry of household, the local province COINS, all engraved on the edge of the front of the province name.As the first large denomination currency in the guangxu dynasty of the qing dynasty, guangxu yuanbao was the first currency in China to introduce overseas technology into circulation.

此吉林省造光绪元宝库平三钱六分，直径约为3.3厘米、重量约为13克，为机制银币，其冲压标准，深峻清晰，地章平滑，字口挺拔，品相精致，符合当时的铸币风格。此银币正面中央珠圈内直读汉文“光绪元宝”四字，币心为一盆万年青图案(亦称花篮图);珠圈外上端镌“吉林省造”四字，下端镌汉字币值“库平三钱六分”，左右均有十字星花分列。银币背面中央镌蟠龙图，纹理细腻，犹如刀刻，铸造工艺神乎其技，且龙身纹路精美，并有云海衬托，仿若神龙翱翔天际，极其壮阔，动人心魄;外围上端镌英文“KIRIN·PROVINCE”，下端镌英文币值“3·CANDARINS·6”，左右两侧各分列满文和一个四花星，极具艺术观赏价值。整币形制规整，钱文清晰，端庄工整，工艺精美，线条流畅，包浆浑厚，是一枚价值非常珍贵的精品钱币，值得收藏。
