“军政府造四川铜币”是辛亥革命时期的产物。1911年12月发生“成都叛乱”,以尹昌衡、罗纶为正副都督的四川军政府取代了建设仅12天的大汉四川军政府。新的四川军政府建设之初即面临着需用日繁、度支日绌的财政困窘时势。军政府迅速接受了四川成都造币厂,决议铸造“四川铜币”以应急。民国元年（1912年）4月,四川成都造币厂奉四川军政府之命,开模铸造“军政府造四川铜币”（也称“汉”字铜元）。
此枚四川铜币“军政府造”汉字大铜币，正面上方是“中华民国二年”，中央有一个很大的篆书“汉”字，代表了大汉的意思，具有反清意义，周围有18个小圆圈，象征着当年响应辛亥革命的十八个省，正反两侧都各有一个花瓣。背面上端写着“军政府造”四个字。的确是一枚当年军政府所造的四川铜币，而最大的特点并不只是它仅仅是一个真品，经过专家鉴定师亲自鉴定，这还是一枚错版的四川铜币。此币老包浆特征明显，货币造型规整精美，实属不可再生的货币，升值空间潜力极大，并且蕴含着浓厚的历史气息，这么好的藏品升值空间自然不言而喻！而这一枚更是其中的错版币，更显其珍贵，是不可多得的珍品！
