吴冠中，别名荼，1919年，生于江苏宜兴农村。1942年，毕业于杭州国立艺术专科学校，曾任教于国立重庆大学建筑系。1946年，考取全国公费留学绘画第一名。1947年，就读于巴黎国立高等美术学校。1950年，留学归国，任教于中央美术学院。1953年，任清华大学建筑系副教授。1956年，任教于北京艺术学院。1964年，任教于中央工艺美术学院。

 

当代著名画家、油画家、美术教育家。油画代表作有《长江三峡》、《北国风光》、《小鸟天堂》、《黄山松》、《鲁迅的故乡》等。个人文集有《吴冠中谈艺集》《吴冠中散文选》《美丑缘》等十余种 。

吴冠中巨幅油画作品《周庄》2016年4月4日晚在保利香港2016年春拍“中国及亚洲现当代艺术”专场上,经过激烈竞逐,最终以2.36亿港元高价成交,不仅创造吴冠中本人作品的拍卖纪录,同时也刷新中国现当代油画世界拍卖纪录。 

此作画于1975年前作，尺寸为68cm*195cm，画面以黑、白、灰、红三种颜色为主，在点、线、面的形式元素组成中，若隐若现，意境很高，是艺术市场上所见最大尺幅的吴冠中佳构。

此幅吴冠中老师的画为1975年前著作，藏家由荣宝斋寄售，难得一见，实属珍品，可遇不可求，此作品构图严谨，布局规整，一气呵成，值得收藏。

 

在吴冠中先生眼里，艺术市场受到人际关系、利益包装、经济沉浮等 人们无法回避的因素影响。庄子曾谓“凡外重者内拙”。吴冠中则如是说：艺术是自然形成的，时代一定会有真诚的挽留和无情的淘汰。艺术市场是一面镜子。但上帝只会关照一心去创作的画家，而不是光照镜子的人。智者所见略同。

Wu Guanzhong, alias Tea, was born in rural Yixing, Jiangsu Province in 1919. In 1942, he graduated from Hangzhou National College of Art and taught in the Department of Architecture, National Chongqing University. In 1946, he won the first prize in public-funded overseas painting in China. In 1947, he attended the National Academy of Fine Arts in Paris. In 1950, he returned from abroad and taught at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. In 1953, he was an associate professor in the Department of Architecture, Tsinghua University. In 1956, he taught at Beijing Academy of Art. In 1964, he taught at the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts.

 

Famous contemporary painters, oil painters, art educators. The representative oil paintings include The Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, The Scenery of the North Country, Bird Paradise, Huangshan Pine and Lu Xun's Hometown. There are more than ten kinds of personal collections, such as Wu Guanzhong Talking Art Collection, Wu Guanzhong Prose Selection, Beauty and Ugly Margin.

On the evening of April 4, 2016, Wu Guanzhong's giant oil painting Zhouzhuang was sold at a high price of HK$236 million in the Spring Festival of "Modern and Contemporary Art in China and Asia" in Poly Hong Kong. It not only created the auction record of Wu Guanzhong's own works, but also refreshed the world auction record of modern and contemporary Chinese oil paintings. [3]

This painting was painted before 1975, with a size of 68 cm*195 cm. The main color of the picture is black, white, grey and red. In the composition of point, line and surface elements, it is faintly visible and has a high artistic conception. It is the largest Wu Guanzhong fine structure in the art market.
