御制珐琅四季吉祥双碗为乾隆皇帝亲自参与设计钦定所烧造，是清宫御瓷之经典名品。存世甚少，多为海内外重要博物馆典藏，流通着寥寥可数，难得一见，其隽秀而娇巧，优雅而尊贵，胎体细薄坚致，内壁施绿釉，温润莹美，双碗外壁分别设胭脂红地和绿地，色泽匀净浓艳，以诸色珐琅彩料绘就牡丹，菊花，梅花花卉，以缠枝相连相绕，画匠以五彩勾勒花枝叶脉，覆以各式彩料，其中墨绿一色极为凝厚鲜亮，翠韵悠然，为后世所不及，釉上蓝彩淡雅悦目，绘画技巧高超，借以彩料之浓淡的变化来表现花叶的阴阳向背，突出花卉的立体质感。布局繁密而有致，不减清疏之气，益见设计构图之佳妙。
