近日，广州国通博物馆有幸征集到一幅当时元代滨州太守杨如寿题字，赵孟頫款清明上河图绢本立轴，淡设色，长382.5厘米，宽27厘米，清明上河图是宋代翰林画史张择端所作之神品也。

择端字正道，东武人，幼读书游学于京师，后喜于绘事，本工其界画，尤擅于市桥、邑屋、舟车、山村、草树、马牛、人物，以及衣冠之，出没远近，无一不臻其妙，并自成其家数也做工精细，翻制古雅，图文清秀，全貌逼真，外观略微陈旧但并无严重损伤。卷首是元代著名书画家翰林学士赵孟頫的题名篆书：“清明上河图”，画卷上方一长列行草“注记”，与画面长短相始终，内容略记《清明上河图》的艺术特色及作者本人生平事迹，为当时滨州太守杨如寿所题。该图描绘了清明时节，北宋京城汴梁以及汴河两岸的繁华景象和自然风光。作品以长卷形式，采用散点透视的构图法，将繁杂景物纳入统一而富于变化的画卷中清明上河图乃描绘北宋之都城及汴河两岸清明时节之市俗人事而故名也。

其画面幽雅，写景生动逼真，城郊农村清明时节之田野景色，疏林薄雾、村舍酒家、阡陌纵横、田亩井然，村头之大道上人员簇拥，有骑而奔驰，有踏青扫墓而归者。此处乃以拱桥为中心，桥上行人熙熙攘攘、拥挤不堪。并见商肆林立，有驻足而观者。桥下之舟楫川流不息，篙师缆夫牵重舟逆急流，力图寸进者。街市则见商店鳞列，市容之繁，行人往来频频，南来北往，有士农工商医卜僧道胥隶，骑而赶集。有载货之货车者，多匹之马车拖曳者，妇幼乘驴者，有以物易物之货郎担者，执斧而锯者，困而睡者.在构图上采用全景式布局，整图视野开阔清旷，境界宏大，疏密对比强烈。所绘河道、石矶、树木、楼阁、市井等等，笔墨均精丽艳逸，骨力峭劲，人物刻画得生动而富有神采。图中设色浓丽明雅，勾勒、皴染细密。屋宇楼阁鳞次栉比，依次排叠，造成了云气迷蒙的幽远空间，展现出世俗喧腾而又虚幻飘渺的人间仙境氛围,然此图之妙若非昼作夜思、月累岁积不能到其妙处，实为无上之神品。

画中人物是主体部分，画家通过色彩衬托的方法使人物非常突出，充分体现了作者在人物刻画以及书法和景物描绘上精深的艺术功力，仔细品赏玩味，其乐无穷，具有很高的历史价值和艺术价值。

The picture of Qingming River is the description of the capital city of the Northern Song Dynasty and the city customs on both sides of Bianhe River in the Qingming season, hence the name.
