 此枚民国二十一年孙中山金本位币壹圆，系民国二十一年上海中央造币厂所铸。有壹圆、中圆两种币值。正面均镌刻孙中山先生侧面头像，上方镌“中华民国二十一年”，背面镌双桅帆船，分列“金本位币壹圆”币值1929年，时值国民党政府推行所谓“法币”政策，以中央、中国、交通三大银行发行的纸币为法定货币，白银收归国有，限期以法币兑换银币，银圆已不成合法通货。故二十一年孙中山像银币，并未流通于市。该币品相完整，整体构图精美，能流传并保存到现在的数量十分少，因此收藏价值及市场价值都十分高。
